Please support our work to help vulnerable girls escape drugs and prostitution
Sex workers lead chaotic lives and often suffer violent relationships, poor mental health and have cripplingly low self-esteem. Many use drugs and alcohol to blot out the horrors they face each day.
There’s an increasing number of girls living and working on the streets, some as young as 15.

Our Amber Project helps
- women understand what stops them leaving sex work, such as violent partners and poverty
- women through drug rehabilitation
- girls overcome trauma through counselling
- with practical things like accommodation, education, health, confidence-building and getting skills.
With improved confidence, emotional resilience and knowing they have someone at Platform 51 who genuinely cares, women can rebuild their lives. It works!

- £15 could help provide a translator for a trafficked woman to help her understand how she can begin to change her life.
- £23 could provide counselling for a frightened girl to help her understand how she can get off the streets and stay safe.
- £50 could give a girl the support to rebuild her self-esteem.
- £100 could provide a Platform 51 worker to accompany a girl on her first visits to a drug rehab clinic.
